2023 has not been a great year for fans of Disha Patani. She did not feature in any theatrical or OTT film. However, our past does not define our future. In 2024, she is all set to feature in an action film ‘Yodha’ alongside Sidharth Malhotra. Not only this, but she would also make a special appearance in Nag Ashwin’s directorial ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. While she looks forward to promoting her upcoming movies in full swing, an interesting development on her professional front has come in today. Reportedly, she will soon headline a female-led action film directed by Mohit Suri.

According to a report published in Pinkvilla today, Disha Patani, Mohit Suri, and producer Vishal Rana are all set to team up on a sleek action film, which will go on floors in January 2024.
Sources close to the development told the aforementioned publication, “Mohit and Vishal have been discussing a collaboration for a while now and things have finally fallen into place. The duo is all set to team up on a sleek action film, which will go on floors in January 2024.”
The source further added that when Mohit and Vishal were contemplating the casting, both of them felt Disha would be an apt choice for the film. “Disha has over the years expressed her desire to spearhead an action film and she was very excited by the offer to do one with Mohit. She has verbally agreed to do the film and is excited to start 2024 with an actioner,” the source added.
If the news is true, then Disha will be working with Mohit Suri again after a gap of three years. She last worked with him on ‘Ek Villian Returns’ - a film that failed to perform critically as well as commercially at the theatres.
