Director Teja, producer Nallamalupu Srinivas team up for an epic love saga Vikramaditya

Leading Telugu producer Nallamalupu Srinivas (Bujji), who backed several popular films like Lakshmi, Lakshyam, Chintakayala Ravi in the past, took a sabbatical from the industry after Ravi Teja's Touch Chesi Chudu. He is back in action with a new film under his banner Lakshmi Narasimha Productions. The producer is teaming up with director Teja for a project titled Vikramaditya. 

The film was announced commemorating Teja's birthday today. Teja, who has finished filming Abhiram Daggubati's debut project Ahimsa recently, will commence work on Vikramaditya today itself. The film went on floors at 2.22 pm today and the director has labelled it a dream project. Supposedly an epic love saga, Vikramaditya is presented by Bhavya. 

The title poster of the film leaves viewers curious, hinting at a classic love tale on screen set in 1836. 1836 is the same very where Sir Arthur Cotton had constructed Dowleswaram Barrage and there’s a love story that was a crucial link to the construction of the bridge. Interestingly, Teja’s blockbuster Jayam also commenced its shoot at the same time 20 years ago. More details surrounding its cast and crew will be revealed shortly.

Earlier in the day, a pre-look poster of Teja's Ahimsa featuring Abhiram Daggubati released. The director also intended to come up with a sequel to his hit film Chitram last year but the project hasn't made much progress after the announcement.
