On a high after delivering his career-biggest hit, the Sankranthi blockbuster Bangarraju, starring Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, Krithi Shetty and Ramya Krishna in key roles, director Kalyan Krishna Kurasala has landed a big project. The four-film old filmmaker has joined hands with KE Gnanavel Raja, the producer behind the leading Tamil banner Studio Green for a msssive project.

While Kalyan Krishna has directed films like Soggade Chinni Nayana, Nela Ticket and Ra Randoi Veduka Choodham in the past, Studio Green has backed sucessful Tamil films including Madras, Paruthiveeran, Siruthai and Singam series, to name a few. Most of the production house's films have been dubbed into Telugu and are familiar with audiences across Telugu states.

“Happy to Announce, we have collaborated with Telugu Sankranti BLOCK BUSTER #Bangarraju Director @kalyankrishna_k for his next Big venture. Studio Green, earlier, was to release Naa Peru Shiva 2 for Sankranthi but was postponed owing to surge in COVID-19 cases across the Telugu states.
