Dilruba teaser: Kiran Abbavaram turns a violent lover, Rukshar Dhillon creates an impact

Kiran Abbavaram is one of the most talented actors in Telugu cinema today. He is riding high on the success of his last film KA, which grossed over Rs 50 crore at the box office. As the film continues to clock millions of streaming minutes on ETV Win, Kiran is gearing up for his next project, Dilruba.

We at OTTplay previously reported that Rukshar Dhillon will play the female lead in this film. The makers have now released the teaser, and it looks promising. The teaser opens with a voiceover by Kiran Abbavaram, narrating that he went through a painful breakup and has sworn off love and marriage. However, as with most films, the hero eventually meets a girl who turns his life upside down.

From the looks of it, Dilruba isn’t a typical love story filled with song and dance. The heroine doesn’t fall for the hero immediately and instead introduces new challenges for him. Kiran’s character faces court cases, becomes violent, and finds himself overwhelmed by the twists life throws at him.

Dilruba showcases Kiran Abbavaram in a mass avatar for the first time, with emotional action sequences that leave a strong impact. What starts as an ordinary love story evolves into an emotional and meaningful romantic saga.

Dilruba cast and crew details

Directed by Viswan Karun, the film presents Ruksar Dhillon in a completely new light. One standout scene features Kiran’s character threatening to shoot her for her behavior, to which Rukshar's character boldly responds, saying she’ll bring him a gun the next day to finish the job. Moments like these add intrigue to the teaser.

Sam CS, riding high on the success of Pushpa 2, has composed the music, with his background score effectively enhancing the film’s atmosphere. Viswas Daniel serves as the DOP, delivering striking visuals. Despite being made on a modest budget, the production values are impressive.

With Dilruba, Kiran Abbavaram is set to captivate audiences with another intense and gripping story following the success of KA. The teaser highlights his eccentric character, leaving fans eager for more.
