The day Diljit and Ed performed, the Punjabi singer shared a video of Sheeran singing in Punjabi for the first time. That video instantly went viral on social media. Now, Diljit has shared a new bunch of photos with Ed Sheeran on his official Instagram account.

Diljit Dosanjh took to his official Instagram handle and shared a set of new pictures with British singer and songwriter Ed Sheeran. In his caption, Diljit mentioned that he got to learn a lot from a beautiful soul like Ed. The pictures feature some candid moments shared between Diljit and Sheeran. After performing with Diljit Dosanjh in Mumbai, Ed Sheeran shared his experience on social media. The singer and songwriter wrote, "Got to bring out diljitdosanjh tonight in Mumbai and sing in Punjabi for the first time. I’ve had such an incredible time in India, more to come! (sic)."
Why was Ed Sheeran in India?
For those who are unaware, Ed Sheeran was in India for his Mathematics Tour that took place in Mumbai. Before his concert, Ed Sheeran attended some parties, including the one hosted by Farah Khan. At her bash, Ed and Shah Rukh Khan met and their meeting turned out to be memorable. SRK made Sheeran recreate his signature pose. Later, the singer crooned the song Perfect for Shah Rukh and other celebrities at the party.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Diljit Dosanjh has a film lined up for release. He will be seen in filmmaker Imtiaz Ali's movie Amar Singh Chamkila with Parineeti Chopra. The film is based on the life of Punjabi singer Amar Singh Chamkila, who was killed at the age of 27. The film is set for a Netflix release on April 12, 2024.
