The makers of Dil Dosti Drama, which stars Anushka Sen in the lead role, released the trailer for the series recently. It offers a glimpse inside the tumultuous journey of Asmara (played by Anushka) as she gets accustomed to the traditions in her grandparents' house, where she is sent to live. Helmed by Debbie Rao, the comedy-drama series is about Asmara’s journey towards self-discovery as she reconnects with her roots. The series will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video starting April 25.

Dil Dosti Dilemma plot
Dil Dosti Dilemma follows the life of a teenage girl named Asmara, played by Anushka Sen. She wants to go to Canada to study further, but her life turns upside down after she is forced to move to her maternal grandmother's house. Asmara lies to her friends that she has moved to Canada, all while navigating the rigid rules in her grandmother's house. This is the premise of the coming-of-age drama Amazon Prime Video series.

Backed by Debbie Rao, the adapted screenplay is written by Anuradha Tiwari, Bugs Bhargava Krishna, Raghav Dutt and Manjiri Pupala. The series is adapted from Andaleeb Wajid’s 2016 book, Asmara’s Summer.
