Dil Dosti Dilemma, starring Anushka Sen in the lead role, is a coming-of-age series that is centred on a teenage girl named Asmara, who aspires to move to Canada. But she finds herself living in a city in North India, rediscovering her roots. The Dil Dost Dilemma trailer was recently released and shows the chaotic yet entertaining world of Asmara. Starring Anushka Sen, Kush Jotwani, Tanvi Azmi and Shishir Sharma, Dil Dosti Dilemma will be released on Amazon Prime Video on April 25.

Taking to Instagram, the makers of Dil Dosti Dilemma shared the trailer and wrote, “brb, we’re packing for the most fun-trip to nani’s house! Join in please?” In addition to the trailer launch, the makers also announced that the Anushka Sen starrer series will premiere on April 25.
The trailer gives us a peek into Asmara’s life, where she only cares about good hair, skin, nails, lunch, brunch, dinner and after parties. As she aspires to move to Canada, her life turns upside down when she is forced to move to her nani’s (grandmother) house after a major mistake.
In addition to getting accustomed to her new surroundings, Asmara lies to her friends about moving to Canada and struggles to keep up with it. How she rebels against the old-age traditions set up by her grandparents forms the story of the series.
While rebelling against the backward traditions, Asmara reconnects with her lost roots and ventures on a journey of self-discovery.
The entertaining trailer has already created a buzz among audiences, with users expressing their excitement in the comment section. One user wrote, “Can’t wait for this one,” while another wrote, “It’s gonna be great.”

Adapted from Andaleeb Wajid’s 2016 book, Asmara’s Summer, Dil Dosti Dilemma is directed by Debbie Rao and backed by Ten Years Young Productions. Along with Anushka Sen, the series also stars Kush Jotwani, Tanvi Azmi and Shishir Sharma in lead roles. The adapted screenplay of the series is written by Anuradha Tiwari, Bugs Bhargava Krishna, Raghav Dutt and Manjiri Pupala.
