The actor is now promoting Lust Stories 2, his forthcoming television series. However, the actor has recently been making news for his private life. Currently, the actor told a hilarious anecdote about a wedding photo of Alia and him at his house during an interview and provided a sneak peek into his sea-facing flat.

Vijay Varma recently shared some pictures of his Mumbai flat with a view of the ocean during an interview with The Quint. He also showed out the places in the corners where he stores the gifts from his friends. However, the area of Vijay's house with a photo of him and Alia Bhatt, both of whom were dressed in wedding attire, caught everyone's attention. Now as they were discussing the same picture, Vijay revealed that it was manipulated and taken from the Darlings set. He also revealed a funny story about this same picture. He told that after seeing such a photo, his mother freaked out since she assumed that Vijay had wed. 

Vijay said, "This is a wedding picture of me and Alia Bhatt from Darlings set. It’s photoshop, we didn’t shoot this. My mother, she freaked out, she was like ‘shaadi kar li tune?’ It was a practical joke on her."

Darlings, a Netflix original movie with Vijay Varma and Alia Bhatt, received rave reviews from critics and viewers alike.
