Shahid Kapoor has been out and about in the city as he is busy promoting his upcoming film, Deva. He will be seen alongside Pooja Hegde in Rosshan Andrrews's film. While promoting his film, Shahid recently received backlash after his comment from one of the interviews went viral. He spoke about actors in the industry who are full of themselves. He also claimed that these actors walk into a room making everyone aware of their presence. Internet was quick to conclude that he took a dig at Salman Khan or Kartik Aaryan. Shahid Kapoor reveals if he took a dig at Salman Khan

While speaking to HT City, Shahid Kapoor was asked about his 'actors full of themselves' remark and if it was for Salman Khan, the actor denied it. He revealed that he received messages after his video went viral. Shahid went on to clarify that he would never take a dig at someone who is so senior and established. The Haider actor said, "Haan but mujhe ek-do logo ne message kiya aisa soch ke. Main toh honestly naa aise hi baat kar raha tha, socha bhi nahi tha. But if I want to take a dig it will never be at somebody who is so senior, so established and who I have so much respect for. Just to clear that out!" Have a look:

What did Shahid Kapoor say earlier?

In an interview with Raj Shamani, Shahid mimicked the expression and without naming any actor, he said, "Aate hain kuch log aise, ki main aa gaya hoon types. Woh dikh jaata hai bro, 30 seconds mein pata chal jaata hai. When they enter a room they want to make you feel like they have entered the room. It’s okay, it’s a room full of people, you have also entered, chill bro. Toh woh toh hai, there are lots of people who have this."

Meanwhile, Shahid will be seen essaying the role of a cop in Deva, and Pooja will play a journalist in the film. It is all set to hit theatres on January 31, 2025.
