Did Ranbir Kapoor just reveal why Sandeep Reddy Vanga named his film Animal?

With the release date of Ranbir Kapoor nearing, the anxiety and excitement amongst the fans to see the film can be felt and witnessed everywhere. Not just the fans, it’s also the film’s stars who are equally excited about the film. This can be gauged from the fact that; the film’s stars and makers are leaving no stone unturned and walking every possible mile to ensure that the film is a sure-fire hit at the box office. As a part of the film’s promotions, the film’s cast and crew had recently visited Chennai. It was here Ranbir Kapoor was asked the reason why the film was titled as ‘Animal’.

Addressing the question, the suave Ranbir Kapoor said that he thinks that, the audiences were seeing this film through the perspective of this character that he is playing and other characters which he could not speak about. He added that, once the audiences would see the film, they would understand (the reason behind the film’s title).

Continuing his reply, Ranbir Kapoor stated that, the reason why Sandeep Reddy Vanga called this film Animal was because animal behaves out of instinct and that they don’t behave out of thought. He clarified that the character that he was playing, behaved out of instinct to protect his family and that he was not thinking he was behaving out of instinct. He further added that his character in the film was impulsive, which, he thought the reason from where the title Animal came. He summed it up stating, once the audiences see the film, they will realize that the film suits this title (Animal).

Besides Ranbir Kapoor, the film ‘Animal’ stars Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady. Besides Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, the film also stars the veteran actor Anil Kapoor (who plays Ranbir Kapoor’s father), Bobby Deol, Triptii Dimri, and Shakti Kapoor. The film, which has been directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga is being readied to be released on December 1. Speaking of December 1, the film will be released alongside the Vicky Kaushal starrer ‘Sam Bahadur’.
