The upcoming film ‘Adipurush’ has been making news ever since the time of its inception. Be its stellar cast or the money spent of making of the film, the film has been in the news. If the reports are to be believed, then, the estimated cost of making the film ‘Adipurush’ is around a staggering Rs. 500 crores. Needless to say that, the makers of the film are leaving absolutely no stone unturned to ensure the film’s success at the box-office.
In the last few days, we saw the film-maker Abhishek Agarwal, showing an extremely noble and generous gesture by announcing that he would be distributing over 10,000 tickets of ‘Adipurush’ across Telangana for free. In a media statement which was issued by his team, Abhishek Agarwal had said that, “Out of my devotion for Lord Shree Ram, I have decided to give 10,000+ tickets to government schools, orphanages, and old-age homes across Telangana for free”. This was immediately followed by Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, who also committed himself to the said cause by committing that he too would be booking an additional 10,000 tickets specifically for underprivileged children. There have been news about Ram Charan also reportedly booking 10,000 tickets in order to give it to the underprivileged.
Film-maker Rahul Dholakia, who is now busy with his film 'Agni', today took to social media and posted a rather cryptic message, which seemed to be a hit at the film, although he did not mention anything about the film. The film maker tweeted stating, “Like fans of actors make a film super hit; similarly, now we have political parties, pushing others to buy loads of tickets to make their “ideological” films successful. We will see much more of this trend in the coming future. Don’t lose hope. good cinema will always thrive”.
As for the film ‘Adipurush’, the film stars Prabhas in the leading role. Besides Prabhas, the film also stars Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh, Devdatta Nage, Vatsal Sheth, Sonal Chauhan and Trupti Toradmal in important roles.
