About the movie ‘Tejas’
‘Tejas’, an action-packed thriller, unfolds under the creative guidance of writer and director Sarvesh Mewara, with Ronnie Screwvala serving as the producer. The lead role is masterfully portrayed by Kangana Ranaut, supported by Anshul Chauhan and Varun Mitra.
Despite its release on October 27, 2023, the film faced a storm of negative reviews from critics, marking it as one of Hindi cinema's significant box-office disappointments within the initial two days. The opening day witnessed widespread cancellations of theatrical screenings.
The narrative revolves around Tejas Gill, an Indian Air Force pilot portrayed by Kangana, embarking on a mission to rescue an Indian spy holding highly classified information. Intertwined with this mission is Tejas's internal struggle with haunting memories from a tragic past.
