Looks like team Martin is gearing up for a massive promotional stint as the countdown to the film's maiden teaser begins. The first video glimpse of the film will be released on February 23rd and fans, who have been ardently waiting to witness Dhruva Sarja in his mean and audacious avatar, are now expecting the teaser to also carry a few vital details about the film. Martin, which was earlier scheduled to release sometime in March, is now likely to come out in theatres at a later time but one can expect the upcoming teaser to increase the anticipation among the same fans.

Earlier today, on February 15th, the core team of Martin, including director A.P. Arjun, producer Uday K. Mehta and leading man Dhruva Sarja, gathered together to speak to the local media ahead of the teaser launch. The agenda of the press meet, as Uday Mehta revealed, was to discuss the plan of action with the Kannada media before the counterparts from Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam regions are added to the mix. Martin, as most are already aware, will be released in five different languages, including the Kannada original.

One of the highlights of the gathering was the team announcing that the film's teaser of Martin will also have a paid theatrical premiere on February 23rd. This would allow a select few fans the chance to be privy to the video glimpse before the rest of the world catches it the same evening online - the 2-minutes-30-second long teaser of Martin will be premiered at the very popular Veeresh Theatre of Bengaluru with tickets priced at Rs. 80 and Rs. 100 (for Balcony).

"We have done this for fans who would want an exclusive peek at the teaser. The reason to announce this well in advance is to allow the fans to make their travel arrangements and reach Bengaluru for the premiere, should they choose to watch it. We wish we could have the premiere on multiple screens but with time being a constraint, the necessary arrangements could not be made," said Uday K. Mehta.

The same evening of February 23rd will boast a much grander press event during the teaser event which will see media belonging to all the major film industries flying down to Bengaluru. The teaser of Martin will also be launched in each language by popular superstars of that region whose names, A.P. Arjun says, will be revealed shortly.
