Dhruva Natchathiram: Chiyaan Vikram impressed with Vinayakan’s performance; Gautham Vasudev Menon spills the beans

Chiyaan Vikram has collaborated with filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon for Dhruva Natchathiram. The eagerly-awaited spy action thriller is slated to hit theatres on November 24, 2023 . Recently, director Gautham opened up about antagonist Vinayakan’s performance in the movie and how his leading man, Vikram, reacted to it.

Vinayakan’s performance impresses Chiyaan Vikram

Recently, Gautham revealed that Vinayakan has delivered a stellar performance in Dhruva Natchathiram. In a recent interview with Cinema Express, the filmmaker also revealed that the talented Malayalam actor has clearly impressed leading man Chiyaan Vikram with his performance in the highly anticipated project.

According to Gautham, Vikram was all praise for Vinayakan after watching a few scenes from the spy action movie. Speaking about Vinayakan, Vikram said, "What an actor he is!" The filmmaker also added that the National Award-winning actor was not concerned if the antagonist would overshadow him in the film.

Vikram did spot makeup for Vinayakan

Interestingly, the Dhruva Natchathiram director also revealed that Chiyaan Vikram even did spot make-up for Vinayakan in a few scenes. During the shooting of some of the important action scenes, the actors even had detailed discussions about how they could be performed.

Gautham also added that both actors excelled in their respective parts, which made the process extremely easy and delightful for the entire team. The director feels that the right casting has worked wonders for the movie.

Vinayakan’s never-seen-before role in Dhruva Natchathiram

In the same interview, the director added that Vinayakan will be seen in a never-seen-before role in Dhruva Natchathiram. According to Gautham, the talented actor has delivered one of the finest performances of his career in the spy thriller.

He further revealed that actress-anchor Dhivya Dharshini asked him to consider Vinayakan for the role when the team was actively searching for an actor to play the antagonist. Gautham roped in the Malayalam actor after watching some of his films.
