Malayalam actor Vineeth will be seen in a pivotal role along with Fahadh Faasil again, in the upcoming movie Dhoomam. The veteran actor had previously shared screen space with the Malik actor in Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum earlier this year, but Fahadh didn’t cease to surprise him again with his performance in the Pawan Kumar directorial.
In an exclusive chat with OTTplay, Vineeth says he was fortunate to work with both Fahadh and Roshan Mathew in this transitional phase of his career, in Dhoomam. “They both have their own unique methods of approaching their characters,” he says.
On his experience with Fahadh, Vineeth says, “Fahadh is an actor who can seamlessly transform into any role. He joined Dhoomam 15 days after we had shot Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum together. There weren't too many changes; it was the same person, same look, same hair and get-up, but he made it look like two different people. He’s known for that. Any role he does, he makes it his own. He doesn’t need physical transformation to set the character apart; he just gels into the part.”
What he noticed most about Roshan, though, is his work ethic. “It was interesting to work with Roshan. He’s a professional and that’s important – coming on time, learning your lines and being there. There has to be discipline in the working patterns, and that’s what leads to a creative bliss in the whole experience. I shared that with both Fahadh and Roshan, as well as all the other actors in the movie,” Vineeth says.
