Ranbir Kapoor is set to star in his 25th film soon. Recent reports have now revealed that the actor has agreed to starring in YRF's much-awaited film Dhoom 4. The filming of the big-budget project will begin after he finishes Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana. Fans have been waiting for every detail of the film since it was announced that Ranbir has come on board for the project and now we have an update for you.
Dhoom 4 gets a director in Vijay Krishna Acharya
According to the reports by Bollywood Hungama, Vijay Krishna Acharya, who has written all the films in the Dhoom franchise and has only directed Dhoom 3, will now take up the role of the director for Dhoom 4. For the uninitiated, Vijay ala Victor has also written the script for the fourth film in the franchise.
A source tells the portal, “Vijay Krishna Acharya aka Victor has written the script for Dhoom 4. He has written all the previous three Dhoom films and directed one, so it was natural for him to be given the responsibility. He will also be directing the film. He had helmed Dhoom 3, which had then become the highest grossing Bollywood film.”
Earlier it was reported that Ranbir Kapoor has already given a nod to the makers of Dhoom 4 and will be seen in the role of an antagonist. Talking about the writing part of the film, Aditya Chopra, along with Vijay Krishna Acharya is currently providing finishing touches to the script. A source told Pinkvilla, "Like all previous parts, the script of Dhoom 4 (Dhoom Reloaded) has been developed by Aditya Chopra with Vijay Krishna Acharya. The idea and vision is to create a cinematic experience like never before with the fourth Dhoom film."
