Dhoom 4: Is Jr NTR playing the main villain? Here is the clarity | Exclusive

Dhoom 4 is all set to go on floors soon, and none other than Ranbir Kapoor will reportedly play the main lead, as per the latest updates. Additionally, reports surfaced that Jr NTR might play the main villain in the film. 

Ever since this speculation emerged, fans of the superstar have been thrilled. However, there’s disappointing news for the fans. A source close to Jr NTR has revealed that he is not a part of Dhoom 4. 

While rumours about his involvement went viral, even in Telugu film circles, there is no truth to them. Yash Raj Films is producing the movie and has revived the iconic series after a long gap. Ranbir Kapoor, who is currently riding high on success, is considered a perfect fit for the lead role.

However, the villain has always been the highlight of the Dhoom series, and news of a South star potentially playing this role has generated massive excitement. In the coming days, Yash Raj Films is expected to finalize the actor for the villain’s role. 

While YRF is already introducing Jr NTR to Hindi cinema with War 2, directed by Ayan Mukherjee, earlier reports suggested that Aditya Chopra wanted Jr NTR to play a key role in Dhoom 4. Unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to be happening for now.

Dhoom is one of India’s most successful film franchises, with all previous instalments becoming blockbuster hits. Meanwhile, Jr NTR is busy shooting for War 2. His last release, Devara, was a smashing success, grossing over Rs 500 crore at the box office.

Jr NTR also has an upcoming project with Prashanth Neel, slated to begin in the second half of 2025. Fans are eagerly waiting to see what this powerful collaboration will deliver.
