Dhanush's reaction to Nayanthara’s romance with Vignesh Shivan during Naanum Rowdy Dhaan shoot REVEALED

Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairy Tale, the long-delayed Netflix documentary based on the life of popular actress Nayanthara, is finally out. The project, which majorly focuses on the superstar’s life, career, and love story with director Vignesh Shivan, features many of her directors and colleagues from the film industry. Meanwhile, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan’s strained equation with Dhanush has come to the limelight after the actress posted an open letter for the actor-filmmaker, over the copyright row.

Radhika Sarathkumar made some interesting revelations about the actress-director couple’s endearing relationship, in Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairy Tale. The senior actress spilled beans about Dhanush’s reaction to Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan’s budding relationship on the sets of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, which has left the netizens puzzled.

When Dhanush expressed his displeasure over Nayanthara-Vignesh Shivan’s romance

Radhika Sarathkumar, who shares a deep personal bond and friendship with both Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan, recalled witnessing their journey, in Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairy Tale. The senior actress confirmed that the popular actress and filmmaker began dating on the sets of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, but their relationship was strictly kept under wraps. However, Dhanush, the producer of the Vijay Sethupathi starrer learned about the couple’s budding romance, soon.

The National Award-winning actor immediately made a call to Radhika Sarathkumar, who played a pivotal role in the film, and questioned her about the same. “It was Dhanush who called me and said, ‘Akka (sister), do you have any shame at all? I was like, ‘What is he saying?’ He asked, ‘Aren’t you aware of what’s happening? Don’t you know that Wikki and Nayan are dating?’ I said, ‘What the hell are you saying? I knew nothing’” recalled Radhika Sarathkumar, in the documentary.

What happened between Nayanthara and Dhanush?

For the uninitiated, Nayanthara’s friendship with Dhanush strained after the release of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. The actress, later in an event, revealed that the actor-producer who bankrolled the Vignesh Shivan directorial hated her performance in the film. She even apologized to Dhanush at the event for not being able to impress him with her performance. The actor-producer, however, has not reacted to any of these allegations, yet.
