Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover were blessed with their first child, a baby girl, on November 12, 2022. They named their daughter Devi. A year down the line, Devi is celebrating her first birthday. Interestingly, her first birthday is on the same day as Diwali. On this special occasion, Bipasha penned a beautifully worded note for her daughter.

Bipasha shared an unseen photo with Karan and Devi on her Instagram account. The actress spoke about the magic of childbirth in her social media post. She also called Devi 'Ma's mishti blessing'.
"The magic of birth 9 months in mamma’s belly and now today Devi is 1 year old. This time has been the most amazing time of our lives Looking forward to many many adventures with our little goddess Devi. I always wonder at the magical things around her… and now her first birthday and Diwali being on the same day She is truly Ma’s mishti blessing to us Our Lakshmi Ma. Happy Diwali to everyone Thank you for the love and blessings for Devi and us So grateful (sic)," wrote Basu.

Last year, on November 12, Bipasha and Karan issued a joint statement about their baby girl's birth. "12.11.22 Devi Basu Singh Grover The physical manifestation of our love and blessings of Ma is here now and she is Divine BIPASHA & KARAN (sic)," they wrote.
