Devara is one of the most awaited films in Telugu cinema and has been in the news ever since it went on floors. The film made headlines recently as the Hindi theatrical rights of the JR NTR-starrer were bagged by star producer Karan Johar and Anil Thadani for a whopping price, hereby showing the kind of buzz the NTR's movie has in the Hindi market.
Pooja Hegde to do a special song in Devara
We at OTTplay have already reported that the film will have a special number and a star heroine will be sizzling in this song. Now, we have come to know from our sources that none other than Pooja Hegde has been roped in for the same. Pooja Hegde had already worked with NTR in Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava, which was directed by Trivikram Srinivas.

Well, it will be quite interesting to see her shake a leg with NTR yet again. Pooja Hegde was once a top heroine in Telugu cinema, but sadly, she does not have a single film in her kitty. Well, she has banked heavily on this film to make her comeback in Telugu cinema with the NTR-starrer.
Devara star cast and OTT rights details
Devara is being directed by Koratala Siva and will be released in two parts. The first part will be out on October 10, 2024. Janhvi Kapoor will make her Telugu debut with this film, which is a period-action drama. Saif Ali Khan is also making his Telugu debut with Devara, and he will be seen as the main villain in this film. Netflix has grabbed the OTT rights to the film.
On the other hand, NTR is also doing War 2 with Hrithik Roshan. He just wrapped up a small schedule in Mumbai a few days ago. After taking a break, he will be back on the sets of Devara.
