Devara Part 1 has taken the box office by storm. In every area that the Jr NTR starrer has released, it has only created new records. Despite the mixed talk, the film has made big money in its first weekend. As per the latest update, Devara has made a whopping Rs 304 crore in its first weekend worldwide.

In the US, the film has made 5.3 million dollars and this is a record that no other Indian film has achieved so far in the pre-sales. This itself shows what kind of a craze the film has in all areas of its release.
The special aspect is that the collections for the Hindi belt are increasing with each passing day. With the Dussehra season on now, the kids will have holidays, and the collections will surely grow in the days to come. Yet another highlight of the collections is that Devara is already in the safe zone in several areas of its release.

In the Telangana, region, the film has been sold for a whopping Rs 44 crore, and by the looks of it, Devara will be in the safe zone by the end of its first week itself. Jr NTR was in the US to attend a special premiere of the film and now, he is back in town and will take on the post-release promotions.
