Devera was one of the most awaited films as Jr NTR teamed up with Koratala Siva after a very long gap. They last collaborated for the film Janatha Garage which was a big hit at the box office. Devara is quite special as it also marks the Telugu debut of Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. The word is that the amount Netflix paid for the digital rights is the highest ever for a Jr NTR film. The makers have earned big bucks with this deal and the news is that Devara will be made available for streaming from November 8, 2024.

Devara is a smash hit at the box office and made just over Rs 600 crore at the box office. Jr NTR's solid performance made sure that the audience loved the film on the big screen. In Telugu states, Devara made record business in no time. Anirudh's music score received massive appreciation as he elevated the film to another level.
Devara was made on a budget of 300 crore and was released as a Pan-India film. Koratala Siva made Acharya as his last film which ended as a massive flop at the box office. So, he was under massive pressure to deliver with Devara. But he silenced his critics in a big way. The wait is now on for the second part of Devara.
