Devara - Jr NTR-starrer’s first glimpse to be out on THIS date! Check out new poster

Mark your calendars as the long-awaited update from Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor-starrer Devara: Part 1 has finally been unveiled! The makers of the film announced that the movie’s first glimpse will be out on January 8. Along with the latest update, the makers have also unveiled a brand-new poster featuring the Telugu superstar NTR amid a roaring sea. Helmed by Koratala Siva, the upcoming film has Janhvi Kapoor playing the female lead, while Saif Ali will be seen as the antagonist.

The new poster of the film features NTR striking an intense pose, standing on a boat out in the sea, that appears to be navigating turbulent waves. The poster showcases the actor who is standing tall and in an intense avatar, unfazed by the stormy weather. The intense look has intrigued fans and is now the topic of discussion among cinephiles. As the movie is based on coastal regions and forgotten lands, the poster definitely makes a stunning appearance, hinting at a powerful story and cinematic experience in store for fans!

About Devara

The movie, which is set to be released on April 5, has Janhvi Kapoor playing the female lead, called Thangam, marking her Telugu debut in this action thriller. The film is based on coastal regions with Jr NTR playing the dual role of father and son. 

Team Devara takes a break for holidays, here's when the Jr NTR starrer will resume its shoot 

Earlier, director Siva revealed that the movie will be made in two parts. Talking of the instalments, the director said, “The film is set against the backdrop of forgotten lands of coastal India, and the canvas is too big. As we started shooting the film, the canvas revealed itself and started getting bigger and bigger. So, we took the decision to tell this big story and canvas it in two parts. The story won't change in shape but will thrive in scale. One of the biggest canvases ever of Devara will be done in two parts, and April 5, 2024, is just the beginning.” 

Actors Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Narain, Kalaiyarasan, Murali Sharma and Abhimanyu Singh are part of the supporting cast. 

Bankrolled by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, Devara has music scored by Anirudh Ravichander. Cinematographer R Rathnavelu and editor A Sreekar Prasad are part of the technical crew.
