Story:

Tanjiro, Tokito, Genya and Nezuko fight the demons in Swordsmith Village. Kanroji steps in and steals the spotlight.

Review:

Episode 10 of Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc commences with Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji and her magic. The magic here is in the VFX. Whether it is the dragon attack or her pink urumi (whip sword) in just the right amount, everything works wonders.

At long last, Kanroji is shown with the respect she should have from the first frame. Her backstory is the focus this time.

The antagonist Gyokko is given as much space and power this time. If our heroes have cool graphics, he does too.

Nezuko and Genya come back briefly. Genya shows his demon side again and it is hilarious but also pretty cool. Iguro is seen too and he is very much in his character but it’s still fun.

Like the previous episodes, the show ends at a cliffhanger. It actually ends at a moment where you root for Nezuko but do not know if she has achieved her goal or not.

The post-credit scene does not make any sense and is actually better if skipped. The last scene is literally a joke but not so good that you want to watch it.

Verdict:

Demon Slayer season 3 episode 10 has great VFX and pace. The story is not as up to the mark as the previous episode but you are gripped to it towards the end, nonetheless. The post-credit scene though, not so much.
