Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc is finally heading towards the finale episode, and with it, there are more changes to the show. It was revealed that the season has an episode’s extension, so ideally episode 7 would have been the finale episode, but rather, episode 8 will be it. Nonetheless, the semi-finale episode i.e. episode 7 will be 40 minutes long, as opposed to the conventional 30-minute episodes. Gyomei Himejima’s training was introduced two episodes back, and there is more to come from the strongest Hashira in the Demon Slayer Universe.

What will happen in episode 7?

A lot can happen in the upcoming episode, but one thing is certain – Stone Hashira Gyomei Himejima will play a major role. The title of the episode itself is titled after him, which means that Himejima’s story is likely to be explored. While doing that, the makers might put him up against the mighty Muzan Kibusuji. A hint of that was in the last episode, when Muzan tried to find Nezuko with the help of the biwa girl Nakime, who has risen up to Upper Rank four.

What is Tanjiro up to? What about Inosuke and Zenitsu?

With some help from Genya Shinazugawa, Tanjiro was able to almost complete his training under Himejima. While it appears that Tanjiro would now be ready for a battle, there could be more to come. Giyu Tomioka has finally agreed to come to the training, but there’s uncertainty on whether he will train Tanjiro further, or if Himejima’s test was the ultimate one.

As for Inosuke and Zenitsu, much like Tanjiro, they were struggling with completing Himejima’s training. However, after noticing Tanjiro, Inosuke is definitely pumped and Zenitsu might just have a realization that it is for Nezuko and he might work towards the ultimate goal without his biggest obstacle – fear.

Muzan will continue making a move

Just like Himejima’s story is almost certain, one can be assured that Muzan will not sit quiet. He is very close to finding Nezuko, which means he will end up battling Retired Water Hashira Sakonji Urokodaki who is taking care of the half-demon, at some point in the next two episodes.
