Tanjiro is now healed and back at the training camp. He meets his former trainer, Tengen Uzui, and bonds with Giyu Tomioka too. All the Hashiras train together in order to beat the ultimate demon, Muzan.
Episode 3 of Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc commences with graphics that promise high quality content once again. Sure enough, it is not disappointing.
Tengen Uzui is back in action, and he is as fierce as always. Tanjiro is finally reunited with Uzui since Entertainment District Arc. Like Tomioka and Tanjiro, these two share a cute moment as well. Their bonding in this particular episode becomes more professional, in that sense. Tanjiro shows extreme growth and improvement, thanks to his past with Uzui, and the passion for their work reflects in every move they make.
A mysterious scene makes it to the episode. This is likely to talk about the power of the Upper Four demons (fourth ranked, to be precise) but the scene barely conveys the message. It coming at random does not help at all either.
Fun elements are added to Tanjiro's training, mainly because of how far the little boy has come and he doesn't even realize it or think it's a big deal. This is with his fellow Corps members, who are miles apart from him.
Giyu Tomioka is thankfully back but this time it is for their soba eating competition. Tanjiro's expressions while doing so are epic and funny. Their interaction is once again heartwarming.
Serpent Hashira Obanai Iguro and Wind Hashira, Sanemi Shinazugawa are back. They are closely associated with the matter at hand after finding Muzan's lair early on. Thus, their secret meeting becomes important. It is also their crazy nature that brings about an interesting moment in the episode.
Tanjiro's crazy improvement in combat skills are on display this time around. It sure as hell does not disappoint.
We get a glimpse into Muijiro Tokito's training as well. The same will take you back to the Swordsmith Village Arc, or at least his introduction in that, for Tokito is back to being his cold self (for reasons this time around).
The post-credit song will grab your attention. It tells the tale of what the series is and will be. So, make sure not to miss this one either, if you want hints to the story.
The post-credit scene has a secret from the Entertainment District Arc revealed. It's nothing that great and can be missed but if you like Uzui, then you will like this too.
Although the episode touches upon many topics at once, it is not particularly distracting. The focus, again, is on Tanjiro’s training, and that really is the high point in this particular episode. You definitely do not want to miss out on this one.
