Deepika Padukone has been in the film industry for nearly 15 years now. The actor made his grand debut back in 2008 with the Farah Khan Kunder-directed Om Shanti Om. DP's debut also marked her first of many outings with superstar Shah Rukh Khan. During a recent interaction, the actor revealed the one piece of advice Khan gave her that has been stuck in her mind for a very long time.

Padukone told Filmfare that the most important piece of advice she received from Shah Rukh Khan was to always work with individuals one knows one will have a good time with, because they are also living life, making memories, and creating experiences while producing a film.

The Gehraiyaan actor also recalled the worst advice, stating that when she was 18-years-old, somebody told her to get breast implantation. DP remarked that she often wonders how she had the wisdom to not take it seriously.

Currently, the actor is riding high on the success of her latest outing, Gehraiyaan, directed by Shakun Batra. The film is considered one of her best performances ever.

Meanwhile, after Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express and Happy New Year, DP is reuniting with Shah Rukh on the big screen with Pathan. The Siddharth Anand directorial also reunites her with the Bachna Ae Haseeno helmer and Desi Boyz and Race 2 co-star John Abraham.

Padukone has several films in her kitty, including Fighter, which is also directed by Anand, while the actor is collaborating with Hrithik Roshan for the very first time.

She will also be featuring alongside Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan in Project K, which is a multilingual project. Moreover, DP will kickstart with The Intern remake, wherein she will be working again with Big B on the big screen. The actor has her calendar full for the next couple of years.
