Nayanthara officially comes on board Nivin Pauly's upcoming Malayalam film Dear Students. Here’s the latest update

It’s official! Nayanthara has now come on board Nivin Pauly’s upcoming film Dear Students. The Varshangalkku Shesham actor took to his social media pages to drop the latest update with a welcome video. The creative video showcases the lovely actress, hinting that the Lady Superstar is all set to star opposite Nivin Pauly as the female lead. The new update has elicited excited responses among Nivin and Nayanthara's fans, who loved their chemistry in their debut project Love Action Drama.
For the unversed, Love Action Drama, which was released in 2019, marked the duo’s first onscreen collaboration, which was helmed by Dhyan Sreenivasan.
Directed and written by debutants Sandeep Kumar and George Philip Roy , the upcoming project will be bankrolled by the actor’s production banner, Pauly Jr Pictures. Earlier, it was speculated that Nayanthara will be playing a pivotal role in the film, which has now been confirmed.
By the title and creative posters, the film hints at being a school or college-based drama. The makers also announced that the film will commence shooting very soon. More details about the film will be revealed soon. Watch this space for more updates about the film.
Apart from Dear Students, the Jawan star will be next seen in a cricket-based film Test, which also stars R Madhavan, Siddharth and Meera Jasmine in lead roles. Apart from that, the actress will also be seen in the upcoming Tamil film Mannangatti Since 1960. The Jawan star will also reportedly make a cameo appearance in the Vignesh Sivan directorial LIC.
Meanwhile, the Malayalam actor made a dashing comeback with his cameo appearance in the Vineeth Sreenivasan directorial Varshangalkku Shesham. The actor will soon be seen in Dijo Jose Antony's Malayalee From India, which is scheduled to hit the big screens on May 1. With multiple projects in the pipeline, the actor will also be making his web series debut in Disney+ Hotstar's Pharma, directed by Finals-fame Arun PR. The Premam star is currently awaiting the release of his Tamil film Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai, directed by Ram, which premiered last month at the International Film Festival Rotterdam.
