Actress Megha Akash is gradually cementing her position in Telugu cinema with multiple projects in her kitty. While her film with Sree Vishnu and Sunainaa titled Raja Raja Choraa is to release soon, she is simultaneously working on Manu Charitra, Gurtundaa Seethakalam alongside Shiva Kandukuri and Satyadev Kancharana. The teaser of her another Telugu film, Dear Megha, which wrapped its shoot in February this year, was released today. Dear Megha, the official remake of the Kannada hit Dia, also stars Adith Arun, Arjun Somayajula and Pavithra Lokesh in pivotal roles.

Dear Megha's teaser introduces us to Megha Swaroop, a college student, who, on a lighter note, claims to have completed her P.Hd in 'love'. The film revolves around her romantic overtures and the men in her life - a college hunk and another matured man whom she meets later. There are brief glimpses in the teaser that discuss the beauty and grief caused by unconditional love. The breezy romance is shot beautifully, promises to have adequate doses of humour and looks like a whiff of fresh air in terms of its treatment.

Directed by A Sushanth Reddy, the love triangle is bankrolled by Arjun Dasyan under Vedaansh Creative Works. Gowra Hari scores the music for the film that's cinematographed by I.Andrew Babu. During its OTT release on Amazon Prime Video last year, many viewers had compared the Kannada original Dia with Hanu Raghavapudi's romance Andaala Rakshasi (starring Naveen Chandra, Rahul Ravindran and Lavanya Tripathi). Interestingly, the Telugu dubbed version of Dia is also expected to release soon. Dia, directed by KS Ashoka, featured Prithvi Ambar, Dheekshith Shetty and Kushee Ravi in its lineup.
