The day is nearer! The two Marvel universes, which include Deadpool and X-Men’s Wolverine, are coming together for a mission. If you know about them, you already know about how they come from worlds apart, about how Deadpool is always so unserious and goofy, while Wolverine is always pokerfaced and takes on responsibilities head-on. Well, chaos is sure to ensue and it did with the recently released trailer of the upcoming film. PS: There’s a Dr. Strange connection.

The trailer

In the 2.38 minute clip shared by Ryan (Deadpool), we see how he pursues Wolverine, who is currently Logan (played by Hugh Jackman), out. Deadpool is struggling with his illness and only Wolverine can help him out. Resistant at first, Deadpool brings out Logan’s memories and how he did everything to save what was his world. Through the clip, the movie also promises action like never-before. Things have gotten serious and there’s no looking back now.

What’s the Dr. Strange connection?

Towards the end of the clip, Deadpool and Wolverine jump into a portal. This portal is the biggest connection with Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) but it definitely does not end here. Interestingly, there’s also a sorcerer with powers like Ancient One (Tilda Swinton) involved.

Deadpool coming to X-Men world again

This is the second time that Wade Wilson and X-Men come in one world. The first time around, Wade was shown as a human who was surgically given powers. While he could deflect bullets even back then, Wade also got laser eyes and the ability to teleport. Unfortunately, the character did not meet fan expectations, especially because it was drastically different from what was in the comic book. Thus, Deadpool got a complete transformation in order to be loved as the adorable goof he is today.

The film will release in theatres on July 26. The movie is yet to be certified.
