Deadpool & Wolverine continues to fascinate even three months after its release and this new trivia will definitely blow your mind.
Deadpool And Wolverine Could Have Featured Titanic

As Deadpool & Wolverine is set to make its way to the world of streaming with its digital premiere, the movie refuses to fade from pop culture discussions, having set the Marvel Cinematic Universe on a profitable course. When it was announced, rumors about the film ran wild in every direction. The Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman-led film was a topic of discussion over its supposed hundred-plus cameos by the time it hit the big screen. However, when the movie was released, many of those rumors turned out to be hoaxes. But that doesn’t mean they were never discussed by the filmmakers.
This new update from Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy will leave you in splits, and curious about what else may have been cut from the film on the editing table—and just how much wilder it all could have gotten. In new revelations, Levy shared a crossover that was removed during editing, which would have made even Gambit’s return feel less impactful. Yes, you read that right. The film could have also featured the Titanic in The Void. Now you understand the scale we’re talking about.
As per Entertainment Weekly, Shawn Levy, director of Deadpool & Wolverine, said, “We were going to have the Titanic in it.” He credited the VFX department for bringing the wildest ideas to life in The Void. “There are some Fox-centric Easter eggs. In fact, I think Nakatomi Tower [from Die Hard] is in there, as well as the CN Tower, weirdly. So, Canada wins!”
Levy added that the ship “was a generic ship from their library. Then we changed its color and made custom sails. So it’s a pure DP&W ship. We talk about the best idea winning,” he continued. “We told the whole visual effects department…‘We don’t know everything there is to know about Easter eggs and references. Give us all your juicy ideas.’”

For the uninitiated, Deadpool & Wolverine hit theaters worldwide on July 26. It’s been three months since, and fans have been eager to know when the movie will arrive on Disney Plus. Given that the studio has been offering just over 100 days to movies that performed well at the box office, estimates pointed to a late October or early November release. We now finally have a confirmed release date.
A compilation of everything coming to Disney Plus from Marvel was leaked online, giving a first glimpse of Daredevil: Born Again, Wonder Man, Ironheart, and finally confirming the Deadpool & Wolverine Disney Plus release. According to the video, the Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman starrer will release on OTT on November 12, 2024. This date is also logical, considering Agatha All Along ends today, eliminating clashes between Marvel properties and giving Deadpool & Wolverine a good month to take the spotlight.
