Superheroes having their own pets is an old comic book tradition that’s being brought to life with the new film DC Super Pets League. A new trailer teases what to expect with superheroes interacting with their super pets, with Dwayne Johnson playing Krypto the Super Dog.
The trailer shows him being a best friend to Superman and how the two are inseparable. The trailer also shows how he becomes a superhero himself by building a league of Super Pets to save his master and other iconic DC herpes.
Super Dog is joined by Ace the Bathound, PG the Pot Bellied Pig, Merton the Turtle, and Chip the Squirrel in his mission. Together they overcome hurdles and encounter many humorous situations.
It’s an exciting premise that will cater to an audience across age groups. And having so many notable names play these quirky pets is the cherry on top.
