Dasara's success on OTT: Maker of Nani30 quote a solid amount for the digital rights

Dasara is one film that took Nani's star status to another level. The film became the first ever 100 crore film of his career and gave the Telugu film industry a super-talented director in the form of Srikanth Odela. The film is now streaming on Netflix and is getting a solid response from OTT viewers. Keerthy Suresh played the female lead in this film which also has Deekshith Shetty in a key role.

Even after the release of the film on OTT, Dasara is playing in a few theaters in Telangana and distributors are quite happy as the film is still minting money for them. Nani on the other hand has become a massive star post-Dasara. The scene is such that the trade and fans want to see Nani in yet another entertaining film but Nani has chosen a family drama as his next.

The film is being filmed in Goa and is directed by debutante Shouryav. Mrunal Thakur and Shruthi Haasan will be seen in key roles in this film. Thanks to Dasara, the makers of Nani30 are demanding big bucks for the OTT rights of their film. Unlike Dasara, Nani30 is being made on a modest budget as per the makers.

Nani will be seen as the father of an eight-year-old girl in this film. Shruthi Haasan will be seen as a key character and entry into the project has made Nani30 even more interesting. Nani did a film called Jersey where he played the father of a nine-year-old boy. So, how different will this film be only time will tell.
