Actresses Surabhi Lakshmi and Unnimaya Prasad's most recent Instagram pictures have sparked rumours regarding the cast of Aashiq Abu's upcoming film, Rifle Club. Darshana Rajendran is seen posing with these actors in the photos, which have the caption, "Rifle Club strong bonds!" This has made movie buffs wonder if the young actress is appearing in any major role in this production.
The cast of the upcoming Malayalam movie Rifle Club was previously revealed in a motion poster. It was revealed that Vincy Sony Aloshious, Vani Viswanath, and Dileesh Pothan are playing the lead roles. Nevertheless, the producers have not provided an official statement regarding Darshana's role in the action drama. Darshana has previously worked with Aashiq in the 2021 anthology film, Aanum Pennum.
The supporting cast includes Vishnu Agasthya, Hanumankind, The Baby Jean, Surabhi Lakshmi, Ramzan Muhammad, Vijayaraghavan, and Unnimaya Prasad. The film's antagonist will be portrayed by popular Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap, the producers have confirmed. This movie will mark the director's debut in Malayalam.
According to earlier reports, Soubin Shahir and Dileesh Pothan would be starring in this film. On March 16, the actors' information was shared in a motion poster by the director and the cast. However, there was no mention of the Manjummel Boys-star, leading to rumours that the actor had abandoned the project.

The movie's Onam release this year has also been confirmed in the most recent poster. Under Abu's direction, Rifle Club is expected to provide a novel plot and a unique cinematic experience. It is also expected to be a full-fledged action entertainer, according to sources.
Syam Pushkaran, Dileesh Karunakaran, and Suhas-Sharfu penned the script for Rifle Club. The film's camera work is being handled by the director. Rex Vijayan composed the original score and soundtracks. Ajayan Chalissery, who has worked on Manjummel Boys, is the production designer for this film.
