Daredevil Musthafa on OTT: Netizens hail Shashank Soghal’s film as ‘Best of KFI in 2023’

June 16 was a big day for movie lovers, what with the release of the much-awaited Prabhas-starrer Adipurush. But for Kannada movie audiences it was double dhamaka – not only was there a dubbed version of the Ramayan adaptation, but the much-loved film Daredevil Musthafa was finally on OTT, making it more accessible to a lot more people.

When it released in theatres Daredevil Musthafa received a lot of love from critics and audiences alike and the film had a good 25-day run at the box office before it dropped on Amazon Prime Video. The film is still running in a few halls, but since the OTT release, there’s been a renewed interest in director Shashank Soghal’s feature adaptation of writer Poornachandra Tejaswi’s short story of the same name.
