Millie Bobby Brown's upcoming fantasy drama, Damsel, has been delayed to 2024. The movie was originally scheduled to be released on October 13, 2023, but recently Netflix has confirmed that it would not meet that date.
The streaming service has also shared a new poster for Damsel, which shows Brown standing at the entrance of a cave with the shadow of a dragon looming behind her. The poster also includes the tagline, "Coming 2024." The movie got delayed due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.

Damsel story
The story of Damsel is about Princess Elodie, a young woman, who was forced to survive in a cave with a dragon, after being caught by a royal family. She agrees to marry a handsome prince, only to discover it was all a trap. She is thrown into a cave with a fire-breathing dragon and must rely solely on her wits and will to survive.
Fans' crazy reaction is proof that their main focus will be on Millie's performances. Damsel also stars Angela Bassett, Robin Wright, and Nick Robinson. Seems like as the release has been pushed to next year, Netflix will not reveal the exact date until the ongoing actors' strike ends and the studios' negotiation gets approved by SAG-AFTRA.
