Dahaad actress Sonakshi Sinha : It is really good time for a woman to be an actor in the industry

Actress Sonakshi Sinha who started her career with some of the successful commercial potboilers is reciving a lot of love from the audience for her perforamcne in the latest released web series Dahaad. The actress explains why it is the best time for female actors to be in the industry.

In a recent interview with the news agency PTI Sonakshi said, "It's not a full circle. I'm still going around in a spiral. And, I want to keep growing. This is a good place I have reached in 13 years now. Whatever I've learned, I've learned on the job with the people I've worked with, the roles I've done and the things I've worked on."

The actress also pointed out that in last 13 years how industry has changed especially for female actors because of the way the writing has changed for female charecters in films and shows. 

"It's actually a really good time for a woman to be an actor in the industry because great characters are being written and there's such lovely content coming out, so it's a fantastic time," said Sonakshi who played the sub-inspector Anjali Bhaati who is in search of a serial killer in the investigating case of the mssing of 27 girls in a village of Rajasthan.
