Dada Twitter Review: Kavin and Aparna's film is heartwarming and enjoyable, say audience

Former Bigg Boss Tamil contestant Kavin Raj and Aparna Das's emotional drama Dada, helmed by debutant Ganesh K Babu, just hit screens. The plot revolves around a single father Manikandan (Kavin) who is forced to raise his son alone after circumstances force him to separate from his girlfriend Sindhu (Aparna). The film has opened to positive reviews from the critics and audience. Kavin had dropped a video on his social media handle ahead of the film's release and had said that his dream of 12 years is reflected on screen. Dada also stars K Bhagyaraj, Aishwarya, Pradeep Antony and Harish.

Music for the film is by Jen Martin, cinematography by Ezhil Arasu K, editing is handled by Kathiresh Alagesan. The film has been bankrolled by Olympia Movies. In the meantime, Twitter has been buzzing with positive reactions to the film.

Producer Dhananjayan wrote on his social media handle, "#Dada is a beautiful, youthful & emotional film by Dir. @ganeshkbabu with fabulous performances from @Kavin_m_0431 & @aparnaDasss . Composer Vivek Siva called the film heartwarming and  emotional and wrote, "Best wishes to team #Dada for their release http://today.It was such a heartwarming film. Really enjoyed watching this emotional film !! Please enjoy this film in theatres Congrats bro @Kavin_m_0431 loved your performance , director Ganeshbabu & team (sic)."

Director Sam Anton, who made films like Darling and Gurkha, said that with Dada, Kavin the star was born. He wrote, "#Dada was brilliant, emotional & powerful @Kavin_m_0431 A STAR IS BORN  @aparnaDasss u nailed it  @ganeshkbabu bro u KILLED IT.. kudos to the entire technical team for giving a solid film One word - BLOCKBUSTER  @OlympiaMovies  @RedGiantMovies_ (sic)."

Don director Cibi Chakararvthi wrote that the film was well executed. Taking to his Twitter handle, he wrote, "#Dada movie superbly written and executed feel good drama .. Great performance by @Kavin_m_0431 bro and @aparnaDasss Best wishes for the blockbuster to the entire #DadaTeam (sic)."
