Dada: Leo filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj is elated over the positive response for the Kavin, Aparna Das-starrer

Debutant Ganesh K Babu's Dada, starring Kavin and Aparna Das in lead roles, has opened to unanimous positive response from critics and audience. The feel-good drama, which was released on Friday, has Pradeep Antony, VTV Ganesh and Fouziee among others essaying key roles in it.

The engaging screenplay, convincing performances of actors and impressive technical aspects are highlights of the film which is poised to be Kavin's biggest hit in his career. Among the few celebs who have expressed happiness for the movie's success is Lokesh Kanagaraj who is busy working for Vijay-starrer Leo, the biggest project of his career.

Though the shooting of the action drama bankrolled by Seven Screen Studio is happening at a brisk pace in Kashmir, the Vikram director took time to post a tweet congratulating team Dada for the success. He wrote, "Hearing a lot of positive things about this film #Dada congrats da @Kavin_m_0431! Wishing all the very best to the entire team of #Dada (sic)."

Fans of Lokesh, Vijay and Kavin are elated at seeing the unexpected tweet from the filmmaker. Some of the crew members of Dada thanked Lokesh for the Twitter post. The filmmaker took a long hiatus from social media as he was busy with the pre-production works of Leo for several months.

A few days ago, he surprised everyone when he posted a still from the location of Leo which featured himself along with Vijay, Gautham Menon, Anbariv, Lalit Kumar and Mathew Thomas.

Disney+ Hotstar is said to have bagged the digital rights of Dada while Kalaignar TV has acquired its satellite rights. An announcement on the OTT release is awaited by film lovers.
