Daaku Maharaaj is Balakrishna's latest film, which is almost at the end of its theatrical run. We at OTTplay have already reported that Netflix has acquired the digital rights to the film for a massive price and plans to stream it in the second week of February 2025.

Our sources now indicate that Daaku Maharaaj is likely to be available for streaming on Netflix starting February 9, 2025. Directed by Bobby Kolli, the film was made on a massive budget of ₹110 crore. Although the action drama has already entered the safe zone, it has yet to break even in certain regions. Interestingly, the makers opted not to hike ticket prices for the Balakrishna-starrer but are reportedly satisfied with the box office numbers.

Reports suggest that Netflix shelled out over ₹25 crore to secure the film’s digital rights. Urvashi Rautela played the female lead in this project, and her role was pivotal to the storyline. Meanwhile, Bobby Deol, who made his Telugu debut with this film, received criticism for his underdeveloped role, which disappointed fans.
