CSI Sanatan is a riveting thriller that everyone will relate with, say Aadi Saikumar and director Sivashankar Dev

Even while enjoying the success of his web debut Puli Meka for Zee5, that released recently, Aadi Saikumar is back to promote another project, this time a feature film. His next, CSI Sanatan, an investigative thriller helmed by Sivashankar Dev, is set to hit screens on March 10 worldwide. Misha Narang plays the female lead in the film that also stars Ali Reza, Nandini Rai, Tarak Ponnappa and others in key roles.

Ahead of March 10, a pre-release press meet was organised where the cast and crew spoke of their experiences working on the film. “The moment I heard CSI Sanatan, it had the vibe of a Malayalam film driven solely by the story. It has a gripping plot that everyone of us will relate with. Misha has done a wonderful job and the story merited someone with good screen presence like Tarak (Ponnappa).

“Ali Reza has a meaty role too. It’s the first time that a story revolves around crime scene investigation and it’ll offer a new experience to audiences.Just like my show Puli Meka, I hope, you’d encourage my film in theatres as well,” Aadi shared. Interestingly, the actor has been part of many thrillers recently - Black, Top Gear and Puli Meka.

“I still remember the excitement with which Aadi immediately said yes to the script. There are several situations that audiences would’ve experienced at some point in their lives and this relatability is its strength,” director Sivashankar Dev said. The producer stated Aneesh Solomon’s background score and Ganganamoni Shekar’s cinematography are an asset to the film.

Vasanthi, composer Aneesh Solomon and the writer Chaganti Santaiah expressed their happiness on working for CSI Sanatan. Sanjay Reddy, Madhusudhan Rao, Khayyum, Siva Karthik, Vikas, Ravi Prakash, Bhupal Raju essay key roles in the film too. Ravikumar Gurram is the art director for the thriller edited by Amar Reddy. U Pruthvi is the action director.
