Crime Beat teaser: Saqib Saleem and Saba Azad reunite for an investigative crime-thriller web series

Crime Beat is an upcoming investigative crime-thriller web series on ZEE5. It marks the reunion of Saqib Saleem and Saba Azad after over a decade post the 2011 film Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge, and also features the Kennedy star Rahul Bhat along with Danish Husain, Sai Tamhankar and Adinath Kothare in key roles. The makers have dropped the official teaser of the show that chronicles the journey of a crime reporter.

The latest teaser begins with a quote by Saqib, who says, "Just because he cannot prove it, doesn't mean it's not true." Saba enters the montage and tells him, "You won't be able to leave the addiction of getting a byline, my friend."

The teaser further sees Saqib investigating and even stalking and chasing someone for his crime stories. Moving on, he even challenges his boss that he will get to the bottom line of a story to uncover the truth.

Kennedy star Rahul enters the montage as an influential man who can be seen giving an important chance to Saqib's young journalist. The teaser further witnesses a few more important characters of the series, played by Sai and other actors.

Makers dropped the latest teaser with a special caption that reads, "Crime Beat, an honest cop, a dangerous criminal and a twisted journalist are coming together so be prepared for some breaking news! #CrimeBeat on #ZEE5, coming soon. #HookedtoZEE5 (sic)."
