Crime Beat OTT release date: Here's when and where you can stream Saqib Saleem's crime thriller series

Crime Beat, a dramatic crime thriller, will debut on ZEE5 on February 21, according to the streaming platform. The makers announced the release date along with a poster featuring the leading cast. 

Crime Beat: Plot overview

Abhishek, a rookie journalist, dreams of being renowned. With the help of a watchful police officer, he discovers a city secret, and then he finds that his chief editor is keeping a secret as well. One of Delhi's deepest secrets is on the verge of being exposed by an inexperienced journalist. Can he successfully traverse the vicious realm of politics and crime with the support of a law-abiding police officer and an experienced news editor?

Crime journalism, the police, and the seedier side of the criminal underworld are the central themes of the show, which was created by Sudhir Mishra, who co-directed the episodes with Sanjeev Kaul. The poster teases an action-packed story starring Saqib Saleem as an investigative journalist named Abhishek Sinha, Saba Azad as Maya Mathur, Adinath Kothare as a no-nonsense police officer, ACP Mayank Sharma, Sai Tamhankar as a femme fatale, Archana Pandey, aka Heroine, and Rahul Bhat as Binny Chaudhary, who is linked to organised crime.

Crime Beat follows a reporter as he or she navigates a corrupt and crime-ridden metropolis in an unrelenting quest for the truth. Running across a tumultuous cityscape suggests a high-stakes pursuit for justice, as portrayed by the resolute Saleem. On the opposite side, Kothare assumes the role of a stern police officer, likely attempting to maintain peace amidst the chaos. The appearance of a red-dressed, gun-wielding Tamhankar, Bhat as an enigmatic figure, and floating cash notes all point to a web of criminal intrigue, power struggles, and deceit.
