ZEE5 dropped the teaser recently, and it has already taken the internet by storm. Here's everything you need to know!

When to watch Crime Beat on ZEE5?

The Hindi thriller web series, Crime Beat, is releasing on February 21, 2025, only on ZEE5. OTTplay Premium subscribers will be able to watch the series through their subscriptions. While sharing the poster on Instagram, ZEE5 hinted at the deadly journey of a rookie journalist as he's going to get involved in a high-stake chase that could cost him everything.

Co-directed by renowned filmmaker, Sudhir Mishra and Sanjeev Kaul, the upcoming web series–Crime Beat features Saqib Saleem, Saba Azad, Adinath Kothare, Sai Tamhankar, Rahul Bhat, and Bhuvan Arora, among others.

The poster depicts Saqib Saleem as the rookie journalist, who is running for his life with sheer terror on his face as police cars are chasing him, and Saba Azad is assumed to be playing a news reporter’s role. What's the plot of Crime Beat?

Crime Beat takes viewers into a world of urban lifestyle and journalistic ambition. The series centers around Abhishek, a rookie journalist with dreams of making it big in his career in the cutthroat world of news. While investigating a seemingly ordinary crime, Abhishek stumbles upon a deep-seated secret that threatens to unravel the city's carefully constructed facade. However, as Abhishek delves deeper into the mystery, he finds an unlikely ally in ACP Mayank Sharma, a tough police officer with a strong sense of justice. Together, they navigate the dangerous underbelly of the city, facing off against powerful figures who will stop at nothing to protect their secrets.

But the twist doesn't end there! As Abhishek gets closer to the truth, he uncovers a shocking revelation about his own boss, the chief editor of the company newspaper. This discovery forces him to question the nature of justice in his nation.

What does the teaser of Crime Beat show?

The teaser introduces Saqib Saleem as Abhishek, the newcomer journalist, driving a motorcycle towards a police headquarters. In the background, we get to hear him saying, “Just because he cannot prove it, does not mean it's not true.” As the video goes on, we see Saba Azad sarcastically warning him about some kind of addiction. However, Saqib can be heard telling some that he has found some valuable proof and hints that even they had no idea about.

The more the teaser runs, the more secrets begin to come out like the government’s involvement in these under-wrapped crimes. More twists we get to see like Sai Tamhankar and Saba Azad’s relationship, and then passionately kissing in a pool at the very end of the video.
