Crazy Fellow, actor Aadi Saikumar's comedy entertainer, written and directed by first-time filmmaker Phani Krishna Siriki, released to encouraging responses from audiences upon its theatrical release in October. Digangana Suryavanshi and Mirnaa played the female leads in the rom-com, bankrolled by KK Radhamohan under Sri Sathya Sai Arts. After its theatrical run, Crazy Fellow is all set to arrive on OTT. Telugu platform aha has acquired the film's streaming rights.
Earlier this week, aha announced that the film would premiere on December 3. The story of Crazy Fellow revolves around a pampered youngster Abhi, who lives life king-size. His brother and sister-in-law raise him like their own son but are anxious about his reckless ways. Abhi's brother helps him bag a job at a software firm. From day one, he has issues with a colleague Madhu. Abhi and Madhu interact with each other hiding their true identities. When they finally plan to meet, all hell breaks loose.
RR Dhruvan has scored the music for the film, which has cinematography by Satish Mutyala. Giduturi Satya and Kolikapogu Ramesh are the editor and the art director respectively, with Rama Krishna choroegraphing the stunts. Jithu, Hrish are the dance choreographers and Lakshmi Radhamohan is the presenter. The film generally received positive reviews and responses from viewers and critics alike and is expected to fare well on OTT too.
OTTplay.com in its review, had stated, "Crazy Fellow is a good time-pass fare with an adequate dose of humour, uplifted by smart writing and decent performances. Aadi Saikumar finally gets a film that fits his persona well. Digangana Suryavanshi and Mirnaa Menon pitch in with realistic performances though Vinodhini Vaidyanathan is the true surprise package."
