‘Could be something’ - Kriti Sanon addresses rumours on working with Sajid Nadiadwala for a project

On April 3, National Award-winning actress Kriti Sanon was seen outside film producer Sajid Nadiadwala's office in Mumbai. It appears that talks about a new film in progress. Although no official confirmations have been made, her visit has sparked rumours. When asked about these speculations, she simply replied to a news portal recently, "Hopefully soon." For the unfamiliar, it can be noted that Kriti Sanon began her Bollywood career in 2014 with Sajid Nadiadwala's movie Heropanti.

In a chat with film critic Himesh for Pinkvilla, Kriti Sanon dropped hints on whether she is collaborating with Sajid Nadiadwala for a project. Kriti said, “He (Sajid) is someone whom I genuinely love. He launched me into the industry. He is also the reason why I am here (on this platform). There are certain things we are talking about. I hope something materializes. It is not something soon. Lots of people are reading and writing lots of things. I hope there could be something.”

The actress further emphasized that she would love to do an out-and-out comedy film or a romantic film soon.

Kriti made her Bollywood debut in 2014 with the film Heropanti. The film was directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. This film also featured Tiger Shroff in the lead role.

Will Kriti Sanon be a part of Housefull 5?

On March 20, Amazon Prime Video announced the highly anticipated fifth installment of the popular Housefull franchise starring Akshay Kumar. The movie, titled Housefull 5, is being directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

If reports are to be believed, the star-studded cast of Housefull 5 will feature Kumar alongwith Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde, John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Nora Fatehi, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nana Patekar, and Jackie Shroff. Only time will tell if the news is true.

Meanwhile, Kriti Sanon is looking forward to her Netflix film, Do Patti.
