Exclusive footage from the highly anticipated Indian large-budget science fiction film, currently known as Project K, will be shown at the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) in the presence of stars. This film, which C. Aswani Dutt's Vyjayanthi Movies produced and which Nag Ashwin, the director of Mahanati, directed, stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani.

Vyjayanthi Movies' opening night party at SDCC on July 19 will give attendees their first glimpse at the flick. The full title, teaser trailer, and release date for Project K will be unveiled at a panel on July 20 titled This is Project K: First Glimpse of India's Mytho-Sci-Fi Epic, featuring Deepika, Prabhas, and Kamal. The stars will also take part in a performance on the biggest stage at SDCC.

According to Variety, the producers boast that this exclusive event will transport guests into India's most ambitious cinematic universe yet with the film's captivating storytelling, futuristic setting, and Spice Punk aesthetic.

Prabhas shot to fame in S.S. Rajamouli's Baahubali films. His latest film, Adipurush, which just hit theatres, lost steam after a strong start. Deepika co-starred with Shah Rukh Khan in Pathaan, which has become the highest-grossing Indian film of the year. One of 2022's biggest hits was Kamal's starring and producing role in the film Vikram, and now he's working on the sequel, Indian 2. Disha was last seen in Ek Villain Returns (2022), while Amitabh Bachchan acted in Uunchai and Brahmastra Part One: Shiva in the same year.

Nag Ashwin told the international portal that they are very excited to unveil Project K at San Diego Comic-Con. Stories from India's ancient epics are the foundations of cultures throughout the world. Such a massive world deserves an equally massive stage on which to be introduced to the general public. Comic-Con seemed like the ideal venue, full of forthright individuals who could help propel Project K forward.

Rana Daggubati's company, Spirit Media, is sponsoring the gathering. The dates of SDCC are July 20–23.
