Confirmed! Ananya Panday is a part of in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani

Drums rolling! Bollywood actress Ananya Panday has indirectly confirmed social media users today that she is indeed going to feature in ace filmmaker Karan Johar’s directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.

This news is believed to be true soon after actress Ananya Panday dropped an adorable birthday wish for superstar Ranveer Singh. Taking to Instagram Story today, Ananya dropped a picture featuring Karan Johar and Ranveer Singh in a frame. The picture in the Story is believed to be from the sets of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani – an upcoming theatrical film featuring superstars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in key roles.

Ananya wrote on the picture: “Happy Birthday Ran Ran aka Rocky. Wish you the best best best always.”

On July 4, Dharma Productions, the official production house of the movie, dropped the trailer of the upcoming romantic drama. This trailer has received over 40 million views within just two days. Soon after the trailer was released, a section of Twitter users strongly believed that Ananya Panday is likely to feature in a dance song in the movie.

24-year-old Ananya Panday began her acting career in 2019 with roles in the teen film, Student of the Year 2 – a film produced by Dharma Productions. At that time, Ananya was just 20 years old. Interestingly, in this 2019 film, Alia Bhatt featured in a dance song titled, The Hook Up Song. Four years later, in 2023 now, Ananya Panday is all set to feature in Alia Bhatt starrer Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.

Clearly, Karan Johar knows the art of keeping his fan base entertained!

Rocky Aur Rani is all set to be released theatrically on July 28.
