Fans are excited for the release of Old Monk after uncertainty about the release date of the project was lifted. The makers of MG Srinivas’ Old Monk have released the video song titled Color Color Chitte. 

Color Color Chitte is a romantic song by essence but it is also fun to listen to, and the music video also adds to the fun. The song, which is sung by Saurabh Gupta, is fun and has a rather fast beast. The song is also very catchy, with its lines as well as breaks and the chorus. 

The song features MG Srinivas’ character meeting Aditi Prabhudeva’s character for the first time. The hero is immediately swept away by the female lead, and he starts following her and mimicking her. The video song also has some interesting montages from behind the scenes of the movie’s making.

Nagarjun Sharma has written the song composed by Saurabh-Vaibhav.  

Old Monk is co-written and directed by M.G. He also takes on the lead role along with Prabhudeva. The movie also features Sudev Nair, S Narayan, Sujay Shastry, Ram Manjjonath and Naaz Shaikh in pivotal roles. 

Following the success the trailer of the movie saw, Old Monk is a project fans are looking forward to with hope. Telling a fictionalized account of mythology for the modern day based on the story of Narada being cursed to live on Earth, and the only way to lift the curse is to fall in love with a woman. 

Srinivas, who was last seen on screen in the 2019 drama Ranganayaki, is also currently working on horror-comedy Andalamma, directed by Nuthan Umesh.
