Collar Bomb trailer: Jimmy Shergill, Asha Negi star in this intense Disney+ Hotstar film

Disney+ Hotstar has been announcing several projects heading for an OTT release over the past month and the latest in the series is Collar Bomb. The streamer dropped the trailer of the movie today and it looks to be a gritty and tumultuous ride for viewers. 

The trailer caption read: “The clock is ticking. How far will Manoj Hesi go to stop a suicide bomber from blowing up a school?”

While the trailer opens with a beautiful panoramic view of the mountains, things take a turn for the worse with a hostage situation brought on by a suicide bomber in an esteemed private school. From the trailer, it is evident that it is going to be a dark thrilling ride filled with violence and shocking sequences to keep the viewers at the edge of their seats. 

In the past, Jimmy Shergill has essayed several roles as a police officer, namely in Special 26 and A Wednesday and has shown his great acting prowess in Tanu Weds Manu and Happy Bhaag Jayegi. In Collar Bomb, he will be essaying the role of top cop, SHO Manoj Hesi who has been described as a complex character   

Collar Bomb also has Asha Negi, who made her OTT debut in Anurag Basu’s Ludo and was most recently seen in VOOT’s web series Khwabon Ke Parindey. Directed by Dnyanesh Zoting and written by Nikhil Nir, Collar Bomb is all set to release on July 9 on Disney+ Hotstar.
